SENIOR ENGINEER - BODY DESIGN, VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING GROUP ENGINEERING

Responsibilities:

• Assist Manufacturing in trouble shooting on production problems & issues which related to design plan and prepare EBOM, release in PDM system
• Execute PCR/PCO activities up to production stage
• Conduct DMU study and analysis
• Close working relationship with CAE, H&T, Production Engineering, PMO and after sales
• Prepare 3D, 2D engineering drawing, installation, part & SCD
• Prepare DCS design concept sheet, DPS design planning sheet for body parts & system
• Prepare design guide line, engineering specification and standard, DFMEA for body parts & system
• Assist respective department, Homologation & Testing and Production to ensure product development is accordance to design plan and targets setting.
• Assist after sales & service in trouble shooting on customer’s feedback/problems which related to design parts and system.

Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or any related field
• Minimum 5 years of related experience Live and breathe in the digital space through regular real life usages of digital applications
• Intermediate CATIA V5, some experience and knowledge in stamping or plastic injection part design & development, cost & weight estimation and project time management
• Great verbal and written communication skills - to drive great interactive presentations / discussions

LEAD - RIDE & HANDLING, VEHICLE DYNAMICS, TESTING & DEVELOPMENT GROUP ENGINEERING

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage Ride and Handling tuning and development deliverables in meeting legal regulations,, market requirements and customer expectations.
- Product Benchmarking activity
- Vehicle Dynamics objective measurement and analysis
-Suspension Analysis and tuning activity
-R&H attributes and Chassis specification recommendation for production
-To support and coach senior engineers in Ride & Handling development activity
• Provide technical leadership in any matters relating to vehicle suspension, whether in product planning, design, performance, quality, marketing and after sales, market regulation & requirements and new technology implementation,
• Provide technical expertise, validate, review, introduce and recommend Ride and Handling target specifications for all PROTON'S Model lineup.
• Identification , strategize, manage and recommend potential competency improvements and opportunities including resource development and facility expansion in meeting current and future Proton core business.
• To produce Ride and Handling attributes and specification for all Proton Model lineup which meets the development schedule and target in ensuring R&H as Proton Unique Selling Proposition (PROTON DNA)
• To ensure Proton vehicles are safe & well accepted to be operated by customers for the intended purpose of vehicle in term of vehicle handling and stability.
• Provide technical leadership in any matters relating to vehicle suspension, whether in product planning, design, performance, quality, marketing and after sales, market regulation & requirements and new technology implementation.
• To support and coach senior engineers in Ride & Handling development activity
• To test, develop and validate Ride and Handling attributes & specifications for Proton model lineup which meets the development schedule and targets in ensuring good acceptance in term of car safety and customer satisfaction

Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical (Automotive) Engineering or any related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experiences in Vehicle Ride & Handling tuning & development
• Possess advanced driving skills in car control
• Background of automotive knowledge and vehicle dynamics control
• Computer literacy - have basic knowledge in SHARK & RAVEN
